Weekend Champs Sports Bowl Spotlight

One week after Clemson’s upset of preseason-No. 5 Florida State in Death Valley, the No. 15 Tigers take their high-octane offense on the road to meet another ACC power, No. 10 Virginia Tech. It’s our Champs Sports Bowl Game of the Week and it tops the weekend slate of games in our partner conferences for the CSB.

We’ll also get a look at some other Coastal Division teams. No. 21 Georgia Tech travels to Raleigh to meet NC State, while Miami looks to recover from last week’s heartbreaker against Kansas State by hosting Bethune-Cookman University of the MEAC (and of Orlando’s Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Classic).

The Big East has already seen their marquee game for the week, as Pittsburgh broke out of a two-game skid to slam No. 14 USF 44-14. That outcome puts the Panthers back into the conversation for the conference championship. Both losses came out of conference.

We’ll have Champs Sports Bowl reps on the road at the following games to meet with fans, media and school officials:

No. 21 Georgia Tech at NC State
