In the twelfth week of the college football season, members of the Florida Citrus Sports Team Selection Committee are making visits throughout ACC and Big 12 country, meeting with fans across both conferences in advance of the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 29th.
#10 Baylor at #6 Oklahoma State – 7:30 p.m. on FOX
The Baylor Bears (8-1, 5-1 Big 12) travel to Stillwater to face-off against the undefeated Cowboys (10-0, 7-0 Big 12). Saturday marks the 33rd meeting between the two teams but the first time that both teams enter the contest ranked in the top-10 in the Associated Press poll. Baylor, who lost last week to Oklahoma[MR1] , has won three straight following a loss by an average of 19 points. They haven’t lost back-to-back games since 2012. The two teams have split the last two meetings, each winning at home.
#18 TCU at #7 Oklahoma – 8:00 p.m. on ABC
The Sooners (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) come home after that big win in Waco last weekend to face off against the Horned Frogs (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) of TCU. This is the 15th matchup between the two teams. Oklahoma owns a 9-5 lead in the series, though TCU won last year’s matchup in Fort Worth, 37-33. This season Oklahoma is outscoring opponents by almost 30 points per game, but TCU’s Trevone Boykin is second nationally in total offense (402.3 yards per game).
Louisville at Pittsburgh – 3:45 p.m. on ESPN News
The Cardinals (6-4, 5-2 ACC), winners of six of the last seven, travel to Pittsburgh to finish off ACC play against the Panthers (7-3, 5-1 ACC). This is the first meeting between Pitt and Louisville since 2012when both were members of the former Big East. In eight previous meetings as conference foes, each team won four times.
